The BEE

From Chapter 16 Verses 68-69 of the Quran, these lines specifically tell of the necessity of bees.

“And your Lord inspired to the bee, "Take for yourself among the mountains, houses, and among the trees and [in] that which they construct.

Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]." There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.”

The wave

From Chapter 16 Verse 14 of the Qur’an, this piece was made for a maritime lawyer. The verse speaks of the seas and all the bounty Allah has put forth for use to seek in it.

“And it is He who subjected the sea for you to eat from it tender meat and to extract from it ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships plowing through it, and [He subjected it] that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.”

From Chapter 2 Verse 255, Ayatul-Kursi is regarded as one of the most powerful ayahs in the Quran. When it is recited, the greatness of God is believed to be confirmed. The person who recites this ayat morning and evening will be under protection of Allah (swt).

The lamp

From Chapter 24 Verse 35, known as the “Verse of Light,” this verse describes the beauty that of which is Allah (swt).

“Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things.”
