This project is about combining the fruits of a country with the traditional clothes of that nation.

Korean culture, music, drama and food has become a wonderful part of the international scene. Just today I was listening to BTS and eating a pear when inspiration struck me. Korean pears have been in my local grocery store forever. This fragile fruit is the one that’s packed with the soft styrofoam nets and placed in sectioned trays like jewels. Since they are so labor intensive they can often be used as gifts like sweets in East Asian households.
